samsung galaxy s5 activeThe American operator AT&T today officially began selling a strengthened version of the flagship from Samsung, Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. At the same time as announcing the phone, the company revealed the final details, which include color versions, availability and, surprisingly, details about the durability certification, which has been more or less debatable until now. Although the latest leaks indicated that the device has an IP68 resistance certificate, this is ultimately not quite true.

Samsung Galaxy The S5 Active has two certificates. The first of these is the IP67 certificate, thanks to which the S5 Active should be able to work for 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter. At the same time, however, the phone received the US Mil-STD 810G certificate, a certificate that makes this phone a suitable solution for the military. As a result, it is resistant to shocks, temperature, moisture, rain, and the difference in pressure due to height does not pose any problem to it. Apart from that, however, the phone has practically the same parameters as Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F), which means it has a 5,1-inch Full HD display, a 16-megapixel camera and other "features", including a Snapdragon 801 processor and 2 GB of RAM. The phone will appear in three color versions namely Camo Green, Titanium Gray and Ruby Red. The price will definitely surprise you. The phone is more durable than the standard version and has a reinforced body, but still sells for a similar price to Galaxy S5. The operator AT&T plans to start selling it for $714,99, which makes it likely that the phone will be sold here at a price in the range of €700 to €750.
