Samsung Z (SM-Z910F) iconToday, Samsung finally presented its first smartphone with the Tizen OS operating system. The new Samsung Z phone is expected to go on sale in Russia as early as the 3rd quarter of 2014, while Samsung has not yet announced the price of the phone. But what does this phone actually offer? Above all, a completely different design than what we could see with the ZEQ 9000 phone, which was supposed to be the first Tizen smartphone.

From a design point of view, the phone may remind people of a modified version of the Nokia Lumia 520 with a cover that imitates leatherette. So the phone has angular corners and a rounded back cover, as you can see in the photos below. According to Samsung, the Samsung Z is a phone that will surely surprise you when it comes to performance. It claims that Tizen was designed to offer high fluidity and improved memory management. It also offers a high-quality user experience when browsing the Internet and a relatively familiar environment with the possibility of further modification using built-in themes. What is the difference in fluidity between Tizen and the distro Android + TouchWiz, we don't know yet.

The Samsung Z also has a 4.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 × 720 pixels. Inside it is also hidden a quad-core processor with a frequency of 2,3 GHz and 2 GB of RAM. In addition, inside we find 16 GB of storage and a 2 mAh battery. In the end, its specifications resemble a kind of mix between Samsung Galaxy With III, Galaxy S4 to Galaxy S5. On the back, we find an 8-megapixel camera, under which there is a blood pressure sensor. Alongside it, Samsung also claims that the Samsung Z has a fingerprint sensor, as we could already see in the Galaxy S5. The phone runs Tizen 2.2.1 operating system with S Health, Ultra Power Saving Mode and Download Booster software features.
