At the beginning of the year, rumors began to appear about the official announcement of a Lite version of the Samsung phone Galaxy Core. The South Korean manufacturer confirmed the rumor today and officially announced a Samsung-branded smartphone in Taiwan Galaxy Core Lite. It is perhaps the cheapest phone from Samsung with the gradually expanding LTE technology, as its price is approximately 266 USD, i.e. 5320 CZK or 194 Euros. Despite the seemingly enticing hardware specifications, the phone should run on the operating system Android 4.3, not 4.4 KitKat as previously thought.

The already mentioned hardware will be in this set: quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with a frequency of 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM, 4.7″ display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels, 5 MPx rear camera, 8 GB of internal memory expandable with a microSD card and a battery with a capacity of 2000 mAh . The phone should also have NFC. It is not yet certain whether this device will even reach the market in the Czech/Slovak Republic or if it will only be available in Asia, nor do we yet know when exactly it will be released.
