In addition to the leaks about flexible tablets, with which, at least in connection with Samsung, the bag has been literally torn recently, the first informace about a folding tablet. According to available information, it should be released next year and, according to the attached image, it should have an 8″ or 9″ fullHD OLED display. Although this may seem unrealistic, several leaks and reports from within Samsung support this claim.
The mentioned 8″/9″ display should be able to be folded into a much smaller device, about the size of a 5″ or 4″ smartphone. However, we should not expect any large-scale production, as the costs of production, certification of individual models and other potential burdens should have a significant impact not only on the price, but also on availability. Why availability? In the event that this tablet is released at all, it will most likely be a limited edition in some way, either limited by the number of units produced or unavailable in certain regions.
