Samsung is once again showing its latest focus on OLED TVs, with plans to release reasonably priced OLED TVs in the next two years. At the SID-2014 event, Samsung's subsidiary Samsung Display presented a new technology of OLED displays, which should provide improvements and solve some of the difficulties that users of OLED televisions have had in contrast to competing LCD televisions.
The latest technology should bring a longer display life, which is said to be up to eight times longer, as well as significantly lower energy consumption and some other bug fixes. After that, the new technology will also enable the production of larger display panels, the resolution of which will be able to reach 4K, and this was not possible until now due to certain limits.
