The well-known leaker @evleaks managed to get a few hours before the official presentation informace about the overall hardware specifications of the Samsung tablet Galaxy Tab S. These are 100 percent identical to the previously known specifications, so the latest leak only confirms them, but some informace were still unknown, such as battery capacity or weight. Of course, the revealed hardware refers to both versions with different sizes, i.e. the 10.5″ and 8.4″ variants.
Both models will come in two versions, one with LTE technology, the other not, but they differ only in the processor used. The LTE version of both tablets should contain a Snapdragon 800 processor, the model with WiFi should be powered by an Exynos 5 Octa processor. In the rest of the hardware, both devices are more or less the same, 3 GB of RAM will be available on both the 16 GB and 32 GB versions, as well as a microSD slot for up to 128 GB of memory and an ARM Mali-T628 GPU. At the same time on 8.4″ and 10.5″ Galaxy The Tab S features a WQXGA (2560×1600) AMOLED display, an 8MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front camera. The smaller tablet with LTE weighs 298 grams, without LTE it weighs 4 grams less, but its bigger brother is slightly heavier at 465 grams (467 gs LTE) and both are exactly 6,6 mm thin.
