Samsung Galaxy The Tab S, perhaps the most talked about tablet in recent days, was officially unveiled this morning. Samsung highlighted and still highlights two aspects of this ground-breaking device, both of which can claim the title of "second in the world". The first aspect is very well known and, of course, it refers to the use of an AMOLED display on a tablet, which until one o'clock this morning has only happened once in the history of mankind. In 2011, the South Korean manufacturer experimented and "released" a Samsung tablet with an AMOLED display, but it was not mass-produced, and the tablet itself did not make a significant impression on most people's memories.
But we will focus on the second aspect, namely the dimensions of the tablet itself. Samsung Galaxy The Tab S is exactly 6.6 mm thin in both variants, and that is precisely why it is a the second thinnest tablet in the world, but the first place is still occupied by the Sony Xperia Tablet Z2 with only 6.4 millimeters. In the last two years, however, anorexic tablets have literally exploded, so we'll take a look at the 10 thinnest.
10) Apple iPad Air
Last year's iPad Air from the company closes the top ten thinnest tablets Apple. It can boast a thickness of 7.5 mm.
9) Apple iPad mini 2 with Retina display
The device from the American Apple is again on the ninth place, this time it is an eight-inch iPad mini 2 with Retina display with the same thickness of 7.5 mm, but because it is smaller, it is placed on a better place than the iPad Air.
8) Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8 ″
Coincidentally, the eight-inch version of the Samsung tablet is in eighth place Galaxy Tab 3, which surpassed its two previous competitors from Apple by a whole tenth of a millimeter, so it is exactly 7.4 mm thin.

The novelty from this year/January took the seventh place in the ranking, thanks to its thickness of 7.3 mm.
