CortanaA few months ago, Microsoft introduced its own voice assistant called Cortana, which should compete with voice assistants such as Siri or Google Now from other manufacturers. This feature was added to Windows 8.1 only recently and it uses the results of the Microsoft Bing search engine to function, but even now Microsoft itself is beginning to speculate whether it will not be extended to other mobile platforms, such as iOS a Android. First of all, however, the American giant wants to focus on its integration into its own system Windows Phone 8.1.

After the release of Cortana pro Windows Phone 8.1, however, there is a possibility that Microsoft will focus on integrating this voice assistant into other mobile operating systems as well. And that possibility was partially confirmed a few days ago at the SMX Advanced conference in Seattle, where Microsoft representative Marcus Ash was asked whether the company plans to release Cortana for other platforms as well. According to him, Microsoft has been thinking about this for some time and it would be a very interesting move. The fact mentioned by the organizer of the whole event that the Bing search engine is already available (as well as Office) for download on both mentioned platforms also plays a role in the possible implementation, but how the situation will develop in the final is not at all certain yet, perhaps the future Samsung Galaxy The S6 will come with Cortana already integrated.
