The latest study from DxOMark proves that Samsung Galaxy The S5 is the best smartphone camera on the market. In the tests, the phone achieved a score of 79/100, which ranks it together with the Sony Xperia Z2 at the absolute top of the compiled list. In the photography itself, though, Samsung Galaxy The S5 achieved a score of 80/100, but its result was knocked down by one point in the video camera test, but its evaluation also became a record compared to the competition. Samsung's main opponent Galaxy S5, that is Apple iPhone 5S, together with its 76 points, is in fifth place overall.
According to DxOMark, the smartphone has a camera with excellent exposure and very good color rendering, but the absence of optical image stabilization (OIS) is criticized, which is already available on a special version intended for photography fans and later this function should also be available on the premium version called Samsung Galaxy F. The model intended for photographers is called Samsung Galaxy K zoom, it contains a hybrid camera with a 20.7MPx 1/2.3 BSI CMO sensor, up to ten times zoom and optical image stabilization.
