The fact that Microsoft on phones with Androidem makes money thanks to patent licensing is nothing new and no secret. Directs are estimated to be around $1 billion to $2 billion a year and growing. Until now, however, it was mysterious which patents were involved, but today we already know which specific ones they are.
Their list was published by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, there are specifically 310 of them and they are divided into 3 categories. 73 patents belong to the "commonly used patents" category, 127 patents are implemented in devices Android and they classified the remaining 110 patents as "non-standard".
