5GWhile the support of 4G technologies is only really gaining momentum in the Czech/Slovak Republic, the European Union already has plans for cooperation with South Korea, where a new 5G network has been gradually being developed for some time. This is confirmed by a new press release published on the EUROPA server.eu, according to her, cooperation will begin in 2016 and the Union will invest 700 million Euros in research and development, i.e. just over 19 billion CZK.

5G technology should bring a connection up to 1000x faster than the current 4G, so we could reach a speed of 1 GB/s, but this will not happen until 2017, when the first public test version will be released. The project itself should be completed 3 years later, and from 2020 5G networks should be available almost all over Europe. It is not certain whether Samsung is involved in the development itself, but since the technology is made in South Korea, there will be something about it.
