IntelSouth Korean portal DDaily claims that Samsung plans to introduce its new smartphone in the near future, which will be powered by an Intel processor. Specifically, it should be the recently introduced Intel Atom Z3500 model, also known as Inter Atom Moorefield, this is allegedly confirmed by a document directly from Samsung. The aforementioned processor has support for 64-bit architecture and four cores with a frequency of 2.3 GHz, but Samsung will reportedly allow only 1.7 GHz on the new device to reduce consumption.

From the information so far, in addition to the processor used, we also know that the smartphone will not be a high-end device and that the operating system will run on it Android, probably version 4.4.2, but this was not directly specified. Unfortunately, more information is not available, but one interesting thing is worth noting - Intel has allegedly reduced the price of one piece of processor to only 7 dollars, precisely because Samsung plans to buy them in bulk and use them in the new phone.
