YoutubeGoogle, the owner of the largest video portal in the world, has decided to charge for a certain part of its content. Specifically, subscriptions for music videos and video clips will be introduced starting this summer. Google has already signed agreements with 95% of all music companies involved in YouTube, but if the remaining 5% do not agree to the new conditions, their videos will be partially blocked. The mentioned 95% includes both large publishing houses, such as Warner, Sony and Universal, as well as smaller studios.

It is not yet completely certain how much the users without a subscription will be restricted, but some sources claim that the owners of the subscription should receive some advantages over the classic ones, not only the removal of ads from the videos, but also, for example, an improved menu. Youtube will not be the only server charging for streaming music, recently similar portals have literally torn apart the bag, and Google will not only make money with this step, but will also keep up with the times.
