A new survey by Samsung was aimed at British fans of the ongoing football championship and specifically how they are watching the 2014 FIFA World Cup. According to Samsung, a total of 2000 UK citizens took part in the study, and the results were truly surprising. While 30% of people responded that they will watch the matches using a smart TV, another 30% will enjoy them thanks to their smartphones and tablets, almost half of the participants (44%) also said that they will record the matches for later.
According to Samsung, new technologies such as smartphones, tablets and smart TVs have recently played a very important role in watching sports matches. This is also due to the large selection of streaming applications and their functions, such as rewinding, recording and pausing. It is a shame that the Samsung-supported Great Britain team is not doing very well in the championship, because in the last match England lost to Uruguay 2:1 and their progress is uncertain.
