Prague, June 17, 2014 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. introduces the SD850 premium monitor designed for B2B and corporate customers. It combines a variety of functions with excellent image quality.

The Samsung SD850 monitor has a resolution 2560×1440 WQHD, i.e. double Full HD, se 178° viewing angle. It can display more than one billion colors and 100% of the sRGB color space. Approximately 3,7 million pixels offer deep and rich details for a more realistic image. The monitor not only displays "picture-in-picture" in 720p format, but also "picture-by-picture" to provide content from two different sources, for example from a laptop and a desktop computer. This is ideal for content creators, programmers and financial services workers.
Thanks to the thin frame, the design of the monitor draws attention to the screen. The center axis design of the stand allows the user to adjust the height of the display, as well as tilt it forward and backward, rotate it from side to side, or rotate it up to 90° for vertical viewing. The back of the monitor has a solid, professional look.
The SD850 monitor features an Eco Light sensor that dynamically adjusts screen brightness depending on ambient lighting to save energy. In the Energy Star rating, the monitor received a grade of 6.0, which confirms these parameters. The materials used in its production are also TCO Certified.
The Samsung SD850 monitor will be available on the Czech market from the beginning of August.
The 27-inch model (S27D850) will have a recommended retail price of CZK 16 including VAT, and the 190-inch model (S32D32) will cost CZK 850 including VAT.
