Samsung Gear LiveWe recently reported that Samsung is preparing to officially launch its version of the Samsung Gear 2 with the operating system Android. Along with that, we reported that this device might be called Samsung Galaxy Wear, though Samsung recently registered a trademark for the designation, and it would make sense, the latest informace however, they refute this speculation and at the same time reveal to us the hardware specifications as well as the release date.

The name of the watch is said to be Samsung Gear Live and after the presentation, which should take place today or tomorrow at the Google I/O conference, this smart watch should come to the market as early as July 7th. As already mentioned, the hardware specifications were also revealed, so in the Samsung Gear Live we will probably find iron in the form of a 1.2GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage, a battery with a capacity of 300 mAh, a 1.63″ Super AMOLED display and a sensor for pulse measurement. The watch should also boast an IP67 waterproof and dustproof device certificate. But as some of you may have noticed, Samsung hasn't changed the specs at all compared to the two-month-old Gear 2, only the camera has been removed due to the limitations of the system. So the Samsung Gear Live is "just" the Samsung Gear 2 with the system Android Wear and the absence of a camera.
