windows 8.1 update 2If you have been following our website for a long time, then you have not missed the news about the upcoming update Windows 8.1 Update 2. This is supposed to be the second major update for the operating system Windows 8.1, which should return to the system several functions that were not present in the system until now. So these are rather functions that aim to please desktop users and thus the desktop and environment should be unified Windows Modern, formerly known as Metro. The update should automatically recognize which device the user is installing it on and adapt itself accordingly.

A fundamental innovation should be the return of the traditional Start menu, which will now be enriched with an offer of applications from Windows Store, i.e. the offer of tile applications. They should also be able to run in a window on the desktop, thanks to which they would be much closer to the traditional desktop as we know it from Windows 7 and all older versions of the system. But when will the update come out? Renowned leaker @WZOR has revealed that Microsoft has the update almost ready and plans to test the RTM version as early as this week. The update should be unveiled at the WPC 2014 conference, which runs from 13 to 17 July/July 2014. The update itself should then be released in August/August or September/September.
