This is how Jae Shin responded to a question during Samsung's Business Discovery Day about whether the South Korean giant is concerned about the coming iWatch.

So, customers are said to find their own solutions and make smarter decisions during the purchase, instead of making decisions based on brand alone. Jae Shin's assertion is also supported by statistics, according to which customers recently much prefer to buy devices from lesser-known brands or local manufacturers that offer similar quality, that is, in terms of hardware, at a significantly lower price. And it is also true that customers are a bit smarter, because those who are not fans of comparing devices by reading specifications and reviews at length can look at hundreds or thousands of YouTube channels where various comparisons are available in the form of videos with comments.
