androidAs in previous months, a copy of an internal Samsung document has leaked online, in which the company mentions the development status of the KitKat update for supported devices. The most recent document is relatively recent as it was created on July 1, 2014, just two days ago. In it, the company mentions a total of seven smartphones, among which we can also find Samsung this time Galaxy S3. It's right at the top of the list, but don't expect any miracles. Update for Galaxy The S3 (GT-I9300) has been officially canceled and will not be released.

However, in the coming days and weeks, we should already expect the update to arrive on the last 4 devices that are in the final stages of the update process. While the early stages featured key facilities such as Galaxy S4 or Galaxy Note 3, now it is more about devices that are mostly derivatives of the aforementioned flagships. Except Galaxy S4 mini, for which the update has already been released, Samsung has finished testing the update for Galaxy Grand 2 Duos, Galaxy Mega 5.8″, Galaxy Mega 6.3″ and finally pre Galaxy The Note 3 Neo, a smaller version of the Note 3 that Samsung quietly started selling at the beginning of the year. Due to the completion of testing, it is clear that updates will begin to be released this month.
