Office logoMicrosoft has made other changes to the Office 365 suite. This time, however, the changes concern only the version for entrepreneurs, with the company introducing three new editions of the suite for small and medium-sized businesses. The Office 365 Business Essentials suite, for which Microsoft has set a price tag of $5 per month, is supposed to be the bare foundation for businesses. The middle ground is supposed to be the Office 365 Business edition, which Microsoft intends to sell for $8,25, and finally there is the Office 365 Business Premium suite, which the company wants to start selling for $12,5.

The available editions will change on October 1, 2014, when these three solutions will officially replace the current editions, which are called Small Business, Small Business Premium and Midsize Business. Each edition supports a maximum of 300 users who can use the edition within the company. The basic edition, Office 365 Business Essentials will offer businesses access to key cloud services and access to the Office Online suite, which is free for everyone. The standard edition of Office 365 Business offers users access to a full-fledged office suite, but at the same time focuses less on cloud and Internet services. The ultimate solution is the Office 365 Business Premium edition, which includes everything that the other editions offer.
