Prague, July 14, 2014 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., launched by Samsung GALAXY Apps - a store that offers hundreds of applications exclusively for users of Samsung mobile devices GALAXY. Compared to its predecessor, Samsung Apps, it offers a new form of applications and games that will allow better customization and use of all the possibilities of Samsung mobile devices, as it will primarily focus on titles that were developed using the mobile Samsung SDK. It will also act as a platform for various promotions, discounts as well as local applications that are offered exclusively to Samsung device owners GALAXY in the Czech Republic.

In Samsung GALAXY Apps users will find three basic sections: Favorites, Ranking and Pro GALAXY.
- Favourite – will help users easily find recommended apps and promotions.
- Ranking – displays the most popular apps, which can be viewed by popularity, date and price.
- Pro GALAXY – contains four additional sections:
- GALAXY Gifts, where there are premium applications from global and local providers exclusively for devices of the series GALAXY.
- GALAXY Essentials brings together applications that would device owners GALAXY should not have been missing, such as the ChatON communicator, remote control WatchON or perhaps POLARIS Office 5 for editing documents.
- Apps for Professionals is home to business-focused apps and other services that take full advantage of device functionality GALAXY. The applications are clearly divided here according to the focus of the field of interest (education, business, art, etc.).
- GALAXY Specials allows users to download apps specially built using the Samsung SDK. Here, users can download, for example, applications created to work with the S Pen stylus or applications for sharing content using the Samsung Chord service.
