Samsung is clearly preparing a device that should fall into the family Galaxy S5, but no one knows exactly what it is yet. The new smartphone is labeled SM-G850 and as we noticed last week, the device was supposed to offer slightly weaker specifications than Galaxy S5, which led to speculation that it might be an upgraded version Galaxy S5 Active, possibly o Galaxy The already rumored S5 Neo two months ago. That Samsung is serious about the phone is confirmed by the fact that a benchmark for the version with an Exynos processor has appeared on the Internet.

The phones differ only minimally, but the SM-G850 packs 32GB of storage, while the SM-G8508S it contains only 16 GB. There is also a difference in the processor, namely the Exynos 5 Octa used here, consisting of two quad-core chips. The highest frequency is set at 1.8 GHz, while the weaker chip will have a frequency of 1.3 GHz, exactly as it was until now. The 4.7-inch display with a resolution of 1280 × 720 points confirms that it is not absolutely high-end, but something in between. The same resolution, albeit with a different diagonal, was also offered at the beginning of the year Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo, which offered slightly weaker hardware than the full-fledged model, but it was still a device that should have been better than Galaxy Note 2. According to the benchmark, the device also includes:

  • OS: Android 4.4.4
  • Display: 4,7"
  • resolution: 1280 × 720
  • Processor: Samsung Exynos 5 Octa (2× 1.8 GHz, 2× 1.3 GHz)
  • Graphics chip: ARM Mali-T628 MP6 (six-core)
  • RAM: 2 GB
  • Storage: 32 GB (Available: 26 GB)
  • Rear camera: 11-megapixel; Full HD video
  • Front camera: 2-megapixel; Full HD video
