Samsung-Unveils-Exynos-5250-Dual-Core-Application-ProcessorSamsung is a self-sufficient company, but when it comes to processors, it has a lot of competition ahead of it. The vast majority of other manufacturers use Snapdragon processors from Qualcomm, which Samsung understandably does not like, even though it itself uses these chips in many of its own devices, including Galaxy S5 or Galaxy Note 3. However, the company has already ensured that the Exynos 5233 processors are octa-core, 64-bit and already support LTE and LTE-A, which makes it possible to use them globally.

The technological maturity of the new Exynos processors is the main reason for Samsung to be able to start selling processors to other manufacturers as well, thanks to which the processors could also be found in, for example, smartphones from LG or others. For Samsung, this would understandably mean another source of revenue, which would represent positive management especially after the company reported weak financial results for the second quarter of 2014.
