Logitech has decided to launch a new accessory for Samsung Galaxy S5, which it refers to as Logitech protection+ and Logitech +trip. A pair of products with a plus in the name indicates that these products are related to each other, and that is precisely the reason why the sign is hidden in the names. In the case of protection+, it is a protective case, on the back of which there is a magnetic strip, which by itself has no use, unless you buy the +trip accessory for it. It serves as a magnetic car holder to which you can attach your phone while driving.
Logitech promises that the magnet is very strong and can hold the phone to your eyes so that there is no risk of it accidentally falling while driving. The risk is still there, but according to Logitech, there is a greater risk only if a person plays with his phone too much. The magnet is set to go on sale alongside the protection+ case for $24,99. The case is polycarbonate and provides MIL-STD-810G resistance, which the new one also has Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. However, in the case of a protective case, it guarantees that the phone can withstand a fall from a height of up to 1,8 meters. The case costs $34,99 and will also go on sale in August.
