Wear Internet Browser IconThe Samsung Gear Live watch hasn't even been out for a month and I can already do what the Gear 2 can't. A developer has created the first Internet browser for smart watches, which is available in the Google Play store and is compatible with watches that use the operating system Android Wear. The browser has quite a distinctive name – Wear Internet Browser - and requires at least Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on your smartphone. It is still in the beta version phase, so there is a risk that the browser will not work on your watch, if you happen to already own one of them.

The author thought that watches don't have the most ideal screen for browsing the Internet, but when you have to, you have to - and that's why the browser has built-in support for familiar gestures, including Pinch-to-Zoom, which is also done by pinching two fingers. The browser allows users to add pages to their favorites or add them to bookmarks, which are automatically synchronized with the watch. It is also possible to control the watch browser by voice, so you simply dictate which pages you want to go to.
