Samsung-LogoSamsung has announced that it plans to release two high-end smartphones in the next 6 months, which it would like to stop falling sales and at the same time to maintain its leading position in the mobile market. The news should please investors, who reduced the company's market capitalization by almost 7,5 billion US dollars after weaker financial results.

The senior vice president of Samsung's mobile division, Kim Hyun-Joon, told investors during the call that the first smartphone will feature a large screen, while the second should offer a body with new materials. The model with a large screen probably needs no introduction to anyone, as it is Samsung's new "phablet" flagship Galaxy Note 4, which should offer a large screen, thanks to which users will get the best of both categories - smartphones and tablets. This year, however, Samsung will have a tough time, as it also plans to produce its own phablet Apple, which until now has criticized and ridiculed phones with huge screens.

The second device could be Samsung Galaxy Alpha, which according to new information is to be presented in the near future and will offer powerful hardware, but a smaller 4.8-inch screen with 720p HD resolution, which was already used in Galaxy With III and most recently also with Galaxy To zoom a Galaxy S III Neo. However, whether it is him is debatable, as the leaks so far suggest that Galaxy Alpha will continue to have a plastic cover. Kim Hyun-Joon also announced that Samsung plans to introduce new models from the low- and mid-end classes in the coming months, but they will have new functions. Among them could be Samsung Galaxy Mega 2, which according to speculation will offer a 5.9-inch display, but the hardware at the level Galaxy S5 mini.
