Prague, August 1, 2014 – Samsung Electronics Czech and Slovak announced today that Petr Kheil became the director of the CE division for the Czech Republic and Slovakia as of August 1, 2014. For the past two years, he has been in charge of sales and marketing for the product lines of monitors, printers, notebooks and storage media from a senior position at Samsung. This responsibility remains with him, with the fact that these activities are newly integrated into the CE division. Likewise, Petr Kheil remains at the head of Enterprise Business.
In the consumer electronics division, televisions, audio video and white goods are represented, i.e. cooling products, washing machines, vacuum cleaners and microwave ovens. "Consumer electronics is one of the key segments of the Samsung Electronics portfolio. My main goal is to enable as many users as possible to enjoy unique experiences with our brand's innovative products." says Petr Kheil, director of the consumer electronics division.
Before joining Samsung, Kheil held a number of management positions at companies such as HP, Compaq, Citibank and Siemens.
Forty-five-year-old Petr Kheil is a graduate of CTU, field of automation technology. He also studied computers at the Technical University of Furtwangen in Germany. He speaks fluent English and German. He has three children and enjoys skiing, mountain biking, tennis, running, traveling and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
