Samsung UD970Samsung has just expanded its line of monitors with the new UD970 model. The self-proclaimed "expert-level" monitor offers high-quality UHD resolution and was already presented at the CES 2014 conference, where we could learn that it will be primarily intended for professional use, i.e. for graphic designers, game developers, photographers and others who their professions require high-resolution monitors.

The 31.5″ Samsung UD970 monitor has a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels, while offering an interface of 1,07 billion colors, which, according to Samsung, gives images and videos better color and more naturalness. Thanks to its size and resolution, it is then possible when using Quad Windows Picture-by-Picture display up to four inputs. The monitor itself is then endowed with a metal structure, two DisPlay ports, DVI-DL, USB 3.0 and an HDMI port. The Samsung UD970 can currently be purchased in South Korea for 2,09 million won, which translates to about 45 CZK (approx. 000 Euro), but prices for other markets where this model will reach in the near future will probably vary.
