Nike + RunningSamsung and Nike announced a collaboration a little while ago, and athletes will immediately have reason to rejoice. The pair unveiled a new Nike+ Running app available exclusively for the Samsung Gear S watch, which was introduced this week. The fitness application uses the capabilities of the new watch from Samsung and will use both GPS and 3G connection to manage your statistics and also display a map without having to carry a smartphone with you - which athletes will also appreciate, as they will get rid of unnecessary burden.

What is perhaps less pleasing is the somewhat unfortunate sales planning of the Samsung Gear S. The watch will only go on sale in October/October, and let's face it, playing sports may not be the easiest in the winter months. On the other hand, health should also play an important role in the i watchWatch od Apple, which will be introduced in less than two weeks and go on sale a few months later. At the same time, it was speculated that the watch iWatch I will offer exclusive Nike+ features, which now turns out to be untrue.

The Nike+ Running app will be available for Samsung Gear S for free at the time of the watch's release and, in addition to the above-mentioned functions, it will display statistics such as distance and average speed during sports and will allow you to share them with friends via social networks. In addition, there are Nike+ Challenges, live audio feedback and a built-in music player, allowing users to listen to music while wearing the headband Samsung Gear Circle (or will they start playing music loudly through the watch?).
