VidZoneSamsung has announced that users of its Smart TVs, phones and tablets can now access the VidZone service, which distributes videos and music to YouTube or the iTunes Store, among other services. This represents an important milestone for the service, as it is thanks to Samsung that the service is now also available on devices other than game consoles. Unfortunately, the service is currently only available to users in the UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain, but it will expand to other countries later.

For users of Smart TVs or other devices, the presence of VidZone will mean the possibility of quick access to more than 65 video clips, which include, for example, live concerts, interviews and behind-the-scenes videos. As such, the service is ad-supported and available for free, with content from major labels as well as over 000 independent artists. A number of playlists designed by experts are then available, as well as rankings of video clips built on the basis of genres. The service is available through Samsung Apps on Smart TV and Google Play on mobile devices.
