Samsung Galaxy Notes 4At the IFA 2014 conference, Samsung presented several exclusive features for the pre Galaxy Note 4, including, for example, the presence of three microphones on the side of the phone, which are able to detect where the voice is coming from and, depending on it, can record up to 8 different voices during a recorded conversation. But what Samsung did not mention, and what was speculated quite often, was the built-in UV sensor, which, according to numerous speculations, was supposed to become part of the phone and was supposed to be connected to the S Health application.

One would infer from this that Samsung eventually abandoned the plan, but the opposite is true. In fact, the UV sensor is actually located on the phone. The sensor will be used to measure solar radiation and, based on the data obtained, will then alert users to, for example, the possible risk of skin burns. The measurement will take place in such a way that the user tilts the sensor by 60° towards the sun and the phone will come up with the measurement results after a while. The screen then shows what the UV Index is, with Samsung sorting the different levels into five categories – Low, Medium, High, Very High and Extreme. In addition, the S Health app will offer users tips on how to prevent burns and also describe various facts to users. But we already looked at that in a separate article, which you can find below.
