SamsungIn the world of mobile devices, it has recently become a trend to focus mainly on their software side, while the hardware becomes a somewhat neglected matter, which ultimately has an impact on the price of the products themselves. However, South Korea's Samsung is going its own way and instead of adapting to the aforementioned trend, it has decided to withdraw and reassign approximately 500 engineers from mobile software development to other divisions of the company, mainly to divisions related to electrical appliances, televisions, networks and printers.

Among the 500 engineers are also those who have worked on Androidand of course also on Samsung's own OS, i.e. on Tizen, according to some analysts, this step shows Samsung that it is not completely sure about releasing smartphones with Tizen. On the other hand, however, it can be seen that the company is focusing more on home equipment, which is evidenced, among other things, by the purchase of SmartThings, a manufacturer of smart electrical appliances.
