Samsung SM1715 3.2TB NVMe PCIe SSDSamsung Electronics has just announced that it is starting mass production of new NVMe PCIe SSD storage with capacities up to 3,2 TB! Not only is this the highest mass-produced PCIe SSD storage in the world to date, but it is also the fastest SSD storage in the world! As Samsung claims, these new memories are capable of reading data at a speed of up to 3 GB/s and writing at a speed of up to 2,15 GB/s. The new SSD is capable of reaching 750 IOPS operations per second when reading and 000 IOPS per second when writing.

The Samsung SM1715 storage itself is manufactured using 3D V-NAND technology and is located on a HHHL card (half height, half length). At the moment, it is also a storage that has beaten Samsung's previous record by exactly two times. The previous XS1715 model had a capacity of "only" 1,6 TB, but it was nevertheless awarded the most innovative Flash memory on the market at the 2014 Flash Memory Summit Best of Show Awards. Samsung guarantees full disk reliability for 5 years, which meets the requirements of top enterprise server manufacturers. Samsung SM1715 flash drives will be available in two capacity versions, a version with 1,6 TB storage and a version with 3,2 TB storage.
