Android_robotWith the rise in popularity of the operating system Android we could see that Google somehow started to lose control over it and more and more manufacturers replaced its applications with their own. First of all, it is Samsung that developed the TouchWiz UI environment, which today offers alternatives for 20 applications made by Google. This understandably bothers Google and therefore it has started to take steps that should ensure it not only more control over the system, but mainly should offer greater unity. After all, Samsung and HTC offer a different user experience and are built on the same operating system.

Google is now asking OEM manufacturers that their software changes are not too strong and that in each new one Android 20 apps made by Google were found on the device. In addition, these applications will have to be at the forefront of the system, and alternatives from OEM manufacturers should be secondary. In the case of Samsung, this has additionally become the subject of disagreements between the two companies. Today, Samsung is the largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, and its dominance in the market is very important for Google. Well, as usual, the leaders dictate the conditions and in this case we see it in the form of TouchWiz UX, which under certain conditions could completely replace Android. Google also wants a Google Search widget on the home screen and a Google icon that will contain links to 13 apps.
