The curved Samsung S27D590C monitor gives viewing entertainment content a new dimension

Prague, October 2, 2014 – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. introduces the curved 27-inch Full HD Samsung S27D590C monitor with improved features for gaming and multimedia content. Compared to traditional flat screen monitors, the curved screen enhances the viewing experience. It ensures almost uniform viewing distances from the center of the screen to its edges. This curvature matches the natural curvature of the human eye, allowing the viewer to fully immerse themselves in games and movies.

In addition, the curved screen creates a wider field of view and better depth perception. The viewer can enjoy it panoramic view with a 3D-like effect. This effect is especially noticeable in first-person games, such as racing and flight simulators or adventure games and shooters.

Thanks to the ultra-wide viewing angle 178 degrees horizontally and vertically the vertical alignment (VA) panel optimizes the viewing experience from any position while minimizing image distortion. In addition, technology Mega Dynamic Contrast Ratio provides a high contrast ratio of 3000:1 and a brightness of 350 cd/m². The Samsung S27D590C monitor thus produces a natural image with deeper shades of black, perfect white and brighter colors.

The Samsung S27D590C monitor is equipped with built-in 5-watt dual speakers, which provide high-quality stereo sound. It is also included gaming mode, which is activated by simply pressing a button. Game mode detects changes on the screen and corrects image blur, enhances colors and changes contrast for better visibility of the action.

The Samsung S27D590C has a clean and minimalist look that ensures an enhanced curved screen viewing experience. Its sophisticated design makes the screen appear to be floating in the air. Users can easily set the ideal angle by tilting the screen to minimize glare and reflections. The monitor is also compatible with 100x100mm VESA mounts for wall or table mounting.
