Nokia HEREAs announced back in August, Nokia has become Samsung's exclusive mapping partner and Samsung phone owners Galaxy so they will be able to exclusively use Nokia HERE Maps instead of Google Maps. In this case, the partnership is beneficial for both parties, as Nokia will get a large user base and Samsung will get the best maps on the market for a change. After all, it is Nokia HERE that serves as the basis for many GPS systems.

This time it is the beta version of HERE Maps v1.0-172, which is the latest working build. Today, it is not entirely known how long this version will be functional, but it will definitely work in the next few days. The HERE Maps leak itself now comes directly from the store Galaxy Apps where it was available for a while and then hidden again. This very version has now appeared on the Internet and you can download it to your device. The application is fully compatible with Samsung phones Galaxy, but in case you decide to run it on a phone of another brand, there should be no problem with that. Nokia HERE Maps beta 1.0 required Android 4.1 Jelly Bean or later and is 37 MB in size. However, it is possible to enrich the application with offline maps, which significantly increase the size of the application. For example, a complete map of the USA is 4,7 GB in size.
