facebook_iconRemember the HTC First? Not many people, and it's true that Facebook's first phone ended up being a colossal failure. Even to the point that the sellers could list everyone who bought this phone. However, Facebook wants to give this project a second chance, and most recently, Samsung Vice President Lee Jay-Yong was scheduled to meet Mark Zuckerberg directly at Samsung's headquarters in South Korea. This is the third meeting in a row this year, all of which were supposed to be about "future projects" that both Facebook and Samsung officials think will be a win-win for both sides.

The first meetings are likely to be about the virtual reality Samsung Gear VR, which was developed by Samsung in cooperation with Oculus, which is owned by Facebook. However, this product is already ready and it is possible that now Mark Zuckerberg wants to deepen the cooperation even more, probably by incorporating exclusive services into Samsung phones, or by creating the just-mentioned "Facebook Phone", which would offer users constant access to Facebook.
