SamsungFrom the very first mentions of the development of a flexible display, it is more or less clear that it won't be long before more and more flexible, or at least curved, devices start to appear on the market. And Samsung has a huge share in this fact, not only has it already managed to release two smartphones with a curved display and several such televisions, but at this year's South Korean exhibition InterBattery, it also presented a prototype of its own, fully flexible battery, which is currently being developed by Samsung SDI, an offshoot of Samsung dealing with energy.

That being said, the final battery should be fully flexible, just like it was on the presented prototype. To make this possible, Samsung had to abandon the previous "cake-like" battery design. But there is definitely nothing to complain about, the design in the style of a straw has undoubtedly something in it, according to available information, the technology giant plans to start using new batteries mainly on wearable devices, even within three years. We do not yet know what capacity the ground-breaking batteries will boast and whether this will radically change the design of future smartphones, but you can get your own idea with the help of photos from the exhibition, which can be seen immediately below the text.
