5g_0Although today we are still waiting for all Slovak operators to support 4G LTE, Samsung is already thinking about the future and has started testing 5G networks. Fifth generation mobile networks should offer even faster data transfer, and the first tests show that this will indeed be the case. Samsung, which is at the forefront of the development of these networks, recently boasted that phones with support for 5G networks will be able to achieve transfer speeds of up to 7,5 Gbps if the mobile device is in one place and does not move.

When moving, the data transfer speed is then reduced, but as Samsung pointed out, the phone in a car that was hurtling at 110 km/h on a race track achieved a transfer speed of 150 Mbps without interruption or significant reduction in quality. Samsung thanks the super-high frequency of 28 GHz for this success. The technology of the hybrid adaptive field also contributes to the stability of the technology, thanks to which it is possible to maintain the 28 GHz frequency during data transmission over longer distances.
