In addition to the fact that we had the opportunity to try the Samsung novelty at HIGH END Slovakia Galaxy Note 4, alongside it we also saw a second novelty, Galaxy Alpha. Samsung Galaxy Alpha and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 can be considered a direct competitor to the pre iPhone 6 and 6 Plus from Apple, as both phones have certain characteristics in common – an emphasis on design and basically also the diagonal of the screen. Galaxy Alpha can be considered as competition for pre iPhone 6, as it offers a 4,8-inch display with HD resolution, although many people expected that it would be time to use a Full HD or 2K display.
But when you try the phone in your own hands, then you will notice that the display is clean and very easy to read despite the low resolution - for which it can Galaxy Alpha thanks to the fact that the display is sealed on the glass, similar to u Galaxy Tab S. My impression of the display, in terms of color and quality, is very good, despite the fact that its resolution is not the highest. The fact that the display is sealed on the glass is also related to another specific feature Galaxy Alpha – unlike other models, the emphasis here was on design, and this was also reflected in its extreme thinness. Alpha is very thin, thinner than Galaxy S5 or any other model and one would assume they are holding so-and-so iPhone from Samsung.
The phone has a sharper cuboid shape. The back is almost completely flat and the corners of the phone are only slightly rounded. However, to avoid the stereotype, Samsung modified the aluminum frame by narrowing its sides. However, this narrowing is more of a design element and when a person holds the phone in his hand, he is not aware of the protrusions on the lower and upper corners. Due to its thinness, the aluminum frame is the only part of the phone that you will feel when holding the phone in your hand. The back cover is almost flat, and because it's practically flush with the aluminum frame, there's little chance you'll touch it. The cover is again plastic and once again we find the perforated "skin" pattern, but the density of these holes is much greater than ever before. Some may like it, but some may not.

What surprised me personally is how smooth TouchWiz is, considering the phone's hardware. Until now, it was such an open secret that TouchWiz would chop and freeze on slower models, but was quite smooth on fast and powerful devices. Here, however, to my surprise, it's a bit too smooth, and apart from the fact that I experienced absolutely no choppiness when using it, in terms of smoothness, I'd know Android with TouchWiz compare to iPhone with the system iOS 8. But what is to blame? It is possible that Samsung did everything to make TouchWiz pro Galaxy Alpha fast? This is possible because I personally haven't found TouchWiz to be as fast as this on any device we've reviewed recently - at Galaxy Tab S this interface chopped, u Galaxy K zoom (despite the fact that it is an amazing phone that charmed me more than Galaxy S5) widgets could be restarted here and there. However, I didn't notice any of that here, and I didn't experience any lag here.
