Samsung Galaxy Note 4 reviewNot long ago, we wrote about the fact that Samsung won 40 awards from the Japanese product design awards, and today we have informace about other "honors" achieved by Samsung products. This time it's the recently released Samsung phablets Galaxy Note 4 and its version with a curved display in the form Galaxy Note Edge, both of these devices have received certification for ecologically used carbon in several countries around the world.

What does this mean for Samsung? First of all, the obtained certification proves that none of these devices contain any elements hazardous to the environment, such as halogen, beryllium or PVC. At the same time, the certification proves that the box and the attached documentation were made from 100% recycled paper. Specifically, the Note 4 received an eco-friendly certificate from Underwriter's Laboratories from the USA, Carbon Trust from the UK, the Ecological Union from Russia and the South Korean Institute for Environment and Technology. Galaxy The Note Edge with its curved display then "scored" at the Japanese Industrial Environmental Management Association.

This year's Note-y are not the first devices from Samsung to receive a similar certification. Several years ago they were from Carbon Trust thus awarded flagships of the time Galaxy S2 to Galaxy Notes. At the same time, awards for the ecological use of carbon for electronic devices began to be awarded in 2009 and have the task of checking the environmental friendliness of products, from the beginning of their development to the end of their "life".
