Samsung Galaxy Note EdgeLong wait for a new one Galaxy The Note Edge has finally come to an end these days, and on this occasion, Samsung decided to answer a few questions from potential customers regarding the new device. The first thing people were interested in was durability. This is quite a legitimate question, since Galaxy The Note Edge has a curved display on the right edge, which at first glance looks like it will break on the first drop. Wanting to clarify this question, Samsung answered it as the very first one. According to him, the device has passed 1000 drop tests and other vigorous durability tests, and he can assure us that the Note Edge is durable, even if it doesn't look like it.

Another question related to the sensitivity of the side display. Namely, it explains the situation that occurs when the user wants to hold the mobile phone in his hand and, by falling, his hand covers part of the side display. Samsung had an answer ready for this as well. Customers don't have to worry because the sensor of the side display can detect finger and palm touches, so when you hold the phone in your hand and cover the side display with your palm, nothing happens. Another question that bothered people is why the screen is only bent on one side. In fact, the curved screen is also on the left edge. But here the bend is much smaller and is only slightly bent. Samsung wanted to maintain the balance of the design despite the fact that the device looks asymmetrical.

The last question was about functionality. Those interested wanted to know what the bent display is for and what it will be used for in the future. At this time, the screen does not have many features, but Samsung wanted to change that and therefore released the SDK and expects developers to add their features. Until then, however, the display offers options such as reading notifications or quick access to applications. In any case Galaxy The Note Edge is a small offshoot of the Note 4, which supports the fact that it will only be available in a limited number of markets. However, this does not mean that the future of this series will remain the same. It is certainly clear that if people are interested in a similar type of mobile phone, Samsung and other companies will devote more time and money to them.
