Jack WhiteSinger, producer, promoter of vinyl records and until 2010 guitarist of the famous rock duo The White Stripes Jack White releases his own application for the virtual reality headset Samsung Gear VR. It bears the name Jack White: THIRD-D and will take its user "directly" to the concert of this legendary guitarist, who recently delighted Czech fans with his performance in Prague. So far, the application is only available for the Google platform Cardboard, but soon we should also expect compatibility with the Gear VR and allegedly the Oculus Rift.

Third Man Records, the studio founded by Jack White, released this app in collaboration with Jaunt, a company in the field of VR, whose services have even been used by one of the founders of The Beatles, the star Paul McCartney. The application offers music mixed using Dolby Atmos technology, and 360° stereoscopic 3D cameras and microphones with 3D sound field recording took care of creating the most realistic experience possible. In terms of content, users can enjoy hits such as Ball and Biscuit, Dead Leaves and the Dirty Ground or Freedom at 21 in two different concert halls.
