Another year is behind us and we enter 2015 with a little less equipment. But some will survive, and according to a new leak, it looks like we will see a new one at the very beginning of the year Galaxy Tab 4 Lite, the cheapest version of this year's "main" Tab. The super-cheap new product will be labeled SM-T116 and this time will also offer a 7-inch display. The Tab 4 Lite could even be cheaper than this year's "Lite" and could represent a direct upgrade option to Android 4.4.4 KitKat, since it is on the new tablet, at least according to the leaks.

The novelty is also supposed to offer a quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.2 GHz, which represents a step forward compared to the dual-core processor that was found in the Tab 3 Lite. The operating memory remains unchanged, which is to be expected for a low-cost device. Again, it will be 1 GB of RAM, with the memory serving the operating system Android 4.4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz Essence to save memory for users. The device itself could be presented as early as next month, similar to what happened this year. No big announcement to be expected, rather a press release and availability and price information as always. But this time the price will be lower, the models that Samsung has shipped to India for testing purposes are supposed to cost only $99 and thus Samsung can start selling the device at a very low price.
