Samsung Galaxy AlphaSamsung Galaxy In our opinion, the Alpha is a very successful phone, and as we have already stated in our impressions, we've yet to see a device that runs TouchWiz as smoothly as it does on the Alpha. But everything has an end and Alpha received a red from Samsung. The company only plans to remanufacture the devices from the components it has in stock, and when they run out, the device will simply be resold. But why is Samsung ending such a popular smartphone?

The reason is that Samsung sees no reason to have two devices with almost identical hardware on the market. I'm alluding to a planned novelty Galaxy The A5, which is very similar to the Alpha and differs mainly in that it is unibody. Samsung wants to push aluminum construction to the fore, and it wants to achieve this with lower prices. While the Alpha started selling for €650, Galaxy A5 should not cost more than €450. A significantly lower price could help the phone gain visibility and higher sales than the classic Alpha, which could not boast of high numbers - precisely because of the price.

A direct successor will therefore appear on the market in the form of Galaxy A5 and alongside it we can expect two more smartphones that will expand the A series. The first is smaller Galaxy A3 and the second one is bigger Galaxy A7, which will initially be available only with a very small number of operators. The novelty is supposed to offer a 5,2-inch Full HD display, an eight-core processor with a frequency of 1.5 GHz (Snapdragon 615 is not excluded), 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage. In addition, it will offer a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera and a battery with a capacity of 2 mAh.
