UHD AllianceOver the past few years, several televisions with Ultra-HD resolution have come onto the market. Unfortunately for their manufacturers, which undoubtedly includes Samsung, there were not exactly a large number of customers who wanted a high-quality 4K resolution, for one simple reason - why buy a UHD TV when there is so little content available in such a resolution? But Samsung brilliantly solved this and, together with leading Hollywood studios, distributors and several other technical companies, founded and presented the so-called UHD Alliance at yesterday's CES 2015 conference.

And the goal of this newly created community? To build a standalone Ultra-HD ecosystem with a wealth of content and create new standards to support the next generation of televisions. And of course, as was strongly mentioned at the conference, to give customers the best viewing experience. In addition to Samsung Electronics, UHD Alliance members also include, for example, Panasonic Corporation, Netflix, and The Walt Disney Studios, 20th Century Fox or Warner Bros. Entertainment.
