Windows Phone 8 logoDespite the problems that Samsung and Microsoft have between them, the pair would like to get together and would like to resume cooperation again. Currently, however, due to the dispute over Microsoft's patents, which cover the technologies used in Androideh, it's not possible. But if the pair can resolve their disputes as soon as possible, Samsung could launch a ready-made fleet of smartphones with the operating system this year Windows Phone 8.1 or already with Windows 10. At the same time, it would be released as a free update for smartphones that still come with the previous version of the system.

It should primarily be low- and mid-range smartphones, which would be in line with Samsung's current strategy to adapt to market requirements. This was also reflected in the area of Tizen, where instead of the high-end smartphone Z, the low-cost model Z1 was released. For mobile phones with Windows it shouldn't be any different, and even if it is possible that we will see a more powerful smartphone, it may only be one or two models. With the help of cheaper mobile phones, the company wants to reduce its dependence on Androide. This should happen in the third quarter of 2015.
