Samsung, or its Czech division, offers users the opportunity to purchase an extended warranty package for 1 or 2 years for their smartphone. These are special ADH warranty packages that cover accidental, unintentional damage to the phone while handling it. Among other things, this type of warranty also covers water damage, for example when water is spilled on a Samsung phone Galaxy. There are two packages available, both of which entitle the customer to one repair per year in the event of unintentional serious damage to the phone.
In the first case, it is a package with ADH warranty for a period of 1 year, for which Samsung charges CZK 1 without VAT or CZK 100 with VAT. In the second case, it is 1 years and the price of this package is CZK 331 without VAT or CZK 2 with VAT. Packages can be purchased within 1 calendar days of purchasing a new phone. In the event of a service request, the date of purchase will be compared by the service center with the purchase receipt from the phone, and in the event of a discrepancy with this condition, the repair request will be rejected. When making a claim, the customer will be charged a fixed amount of CZK 800 excluding VAT as a co-payment for each repair.
