Bratislava, 20. January 2015 – The company Samsung Electronics Czech and Slovak enriches its Gear smart watch with another function. The new public transport application for Gear enables the offline search of the nearest public transport stop according to GPS, optimally calculates the route to the destination and the departures of connections even with a transfer, displays current information and navigates the user to the destination. It currently provides information about public transport in large Czech and Slovak cities.
Prague, Brno, Pilsen, Bratislava, Košice and Banská Bystrica will soon be joined by Ostrava, Hradec Králové, Zvolen and other larger Czech and Slovak cities. The Slovakian company Casperise is behind the development of the MHD app for Gear. The Transit application for Gear is compatible with the Gear, Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear S models. Users can download it for free through the Samsung Gear Apps store, which can be found on the paired mobile device.
