Bratislava, February 5, 2015 – Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., today took a big step to meet the demand of large and small businesses for more powerful office equipment that combines many functions in one device. Connectivity and economy are the mantras of today's office managers, and Samsung is now presenting a new printing solution that exactly meets current demand.
Leveraging its own strong position in the field of mobile devices and unrivaled ability to develop products using a wide range of advanced technologies, Samsung introduces the new MultiXpress 3 (MX7) A7 multifunction printer (MFP) that helps businesses improve their professional work environment. Simple use will change the established functioning of offices, strengthen productivity and increase savings.
The MX7 is exceptionally fast. It is the only A3 MFP on the market that is powered by a quad-core processor, and thanks to this, she is able to print, scan and fax easily and quickly. Another improvement is the improved Smart UX 2.0 interface, which allows you to preview and edit the document directly on the printer.
Greater economy and productivity
The MX7's quad-core processor (+DSDF) increases performance and reduces latency. The MX7 is ready to print in 18 seconds after powering on, and wakes from sleep in just 12 seconds. It allows you to print at a high resolution of 1200 dpi even when running at full power. Only three seconds are enough to print one black-and-white page, while a color one is printed in 4,5 seconds. The resulting documents are sharp and precise.
The MX7 also offers significant time savings when scanning documents with scanning speeds of 120 single-sided documents per minute and up to 240 double-sided. At the same time, it supports faster office connections thanks to the 802.11ac-capable network chip, which is three times faster than the older 802.11n standard. The MX7 multifunction printer also supports Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity, so users can connect to it and print whenever they get close to it.

A smarter and safer working environment thanks to the Smart UX 2.0 interface
The MX7 device has 10,1 inch display with the system Android, on which all functions can be easily controlled via of the Samsung Smart UX 2.0 print interface. Users can rotate the display as needed to get a true viewing angle of the document. Working with the printer can be further facilitated by applications that can be downloaded from the special "App Store" directly on the printer. Each user can thus customize the device according to their preferences and needs. Users can choose from a wide range of smart applications, including Workbook Composer and Smart Service.
Smart UX Center has its own Workspace Cloud storage, which allows documents to be viewed and edited on any device. This interface also supports SCP Pro and over 20 ISV solutions ensure seamless integration into existing office cloud and network server environments. For intelligent security, companies can take advantage of the so-called Tray Locking Kit, which is the first digital security feature to protect printed documents. This feature ensures that sensitive documents can only be printed by an authorized person and only if they are in close proximity to the printer.
High performance for a very busy work environment
The MX7 device is also suitable for very demanding working conditions and it is capable of printing up to 300 pages per month. Uses large toners cartridge with a capacity of up to 30 color or 000 black and white pages. Other time- and cost-saving accessories include a stapler that staples up to 45 pages or creates an 000-page booklet.

The MX7 multifunction device will be launched on the European market in May. The price for the Slovak market has not yet been determined.
